Welcome. This guide explains what happens after you sign up with Castle Computers and what you’ll need to have ready before we begin.

What we need from you

To get started, we’ll ask for:

  1. Global Admin access to your Microsoft 365 tenant — temporary, for the initial audit
  2. A list of your users — name, role, and licence type
  3. Your current IT setup — ISP, router model, any on-premise servers
  4. Any existing documentation — previous IT provider notes, network diagrams

Week 1: Audit

We review your current environment and produce a findings report covering:

  • Microsoft 365 Secure Score and recommended actions
  • Licence utilisation vs. assigned licences
  • Conditional access policy gaps
  • Unmanaged devices
  • Mail routing and spam filter configuration

Week 2–4: Remediation

Based on the audit findings, we prioritise and implement fixes. You’ll see changes in:

  • Secure Score rising as policies are applied
  • Intune device enrolment beginning
  • Licensing optimised — you may see cost savings immediately

Ongoing management

After onboarding, we move into steady-state management:

  • Monthly Secure Score reviews
  • Proactive licence management
  • Helpdesk for your team (response within 4 business hours)
  • Quarterly business reviews

All changes are documented and shared with you in real time via our client portal.
